Yablonski 4 0 2 0 0 0 0 2 0 X X
Game Summary
Team Yablonski started out strong, blanking the first and then utilizing the hammer to score a nice deuce in the 2nd end with a tap back in the four foot for two. Team Rutherford had the chance for a deuce right back, but hit and rolled out, only getting the one point. In the 4th end, Team Yablonski was looking at two partially behind cover and touched shot stone but rolled out on a tricky in-turn, leaving Team Rutherford with the steal of two. The turning point was the 5th end, Team  Yablonski was again looking at three, one completely  covered on the button and was drawing to only give up one, but the rock, unfortunately, was broomed resulting in a steal of three! Team Rutherford stole another in the 6th end when a Team Yablonski draw to the four foot came up inches short (fudged!). On the 7th, Team Yablonski set up a deuce utilizing a corner guard, but Team Rutherford came back with one in the 8th and Team Yablonski decided that was enough!

Game Summary
The ice was actually pretty good tonight!  Team Hill played a perfect first end and started with a 2-0 lead.  Skip Lloyd had a bad break in the 2nd end when a rock picked and allowed The Sh_tmobile (aka Mr. Glenys, aka, Adrian "I curl too, you know.") a draw for two, which he smoothly threw into the hack.  But steals of one in both the 3rd and 4th ends gave Team Silk a one point lead.  Lloyd made a dandy pressure tap-back for one in the 5th end, staring at 3 silky stones.  The teams traded singles in 7, 8, and 9, and Team Silk stole the tenth, set up by a great freeze in the 4-foot by new second Scott Cripps.  In his first time on the ice this season, Scott played about 90%... maybe OK for first game, but obviously we expect better from now on.  Good luck to Team Hill in playdowns... hope the next time we meet is in the Provincial!.

Game Summary
It was an epic struggle between the forces good and evil as it was the girls against the boys with the winner being able to claim bragging rights and the title of supreme ruler of the Ross household as Dean and Susan went head to head for the first time this season. The game went back and forth with spectacular shots on both sides, but alas the deciding rock was dazzling chunk and flop to cover the pin by Dean to swing the game over to the good guys and to finally vanquish the forces of evil back to depths of hell from hence they were spawned. This titanic victory was possible due mostly to the supreme efforts of "Twinkle Toes Craig" and of course the ever humble Shaggy.

O'Connor 3 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 x x x
Game Summary
Maybe wasn't the prettiest closet game of the week on the scorboard but the result was very Grey Cup-ish 2007 like. Team Genoway liked the result to break a bit of a losing spell.

Game Summary
Team Anholt was in a very serious mood tonight and came out firing. An early guarded shot and basic split the house mode, lead to a deuce in one, when our fearless leader hit and stuck for the two banger. In the second end vice-skip, turned skip, Jason Bodwell, makes a beauty runback with his first which lead to a blank end. Sorry the fourth end is not coming back to yours truly, so we will move to the fifth. The senior helmsman, tippy-toes, makes a beauty raise, freeze, tap, to lay two and which leads to the steal of 2 when Jason barely misses a double angle raise, double smashfactor for 2 or 3...now, with the lounge in sight and steak sannys in the plans, team anholt plays a solid sixth end which leads to Jason having no shot for 2. So he played the no shot for 2, whiffed, and hands were a shaking. After a very heavy day of grey cuppin at Bogey's in Airdrie (awesome place and the beer is cheap) team anholt enjoyed their meat and beer and were home by 10:00. This should be worth several jelly beans, Nelly
