Game Summary
Team Genoway started the game strong and made several hit and rolls on the second end to lay 4, 2 of them in the front of the four foot behind a guard, but Team Rutherford made a last rock draw that rubbed off one of the stones and Team Genoway only stole the one point. After Team Rutherford got on the scoreboard with one in the third end, they went on a roll and stole points in the next 4 ends. The turning point was the 6th end, Team Rutherford was guarding a rock in the 4 foot with Team Genoway having second and third rocks. The last guard froze up against another guard and it looked like it was an automatic run back for Team Genoway to possibly get three. However, the old "drag effect" came into play and it ended up with Team Genoway removing his 2 stones and Team Rutherford stole three! The 8th end was rather messy by Team Rutherford considering being up 5 with a lot of rocks in play, but Team Genoway was only able to get a deuce with a last rock take-out. Team!
Rutherford did keep both the 9th and 10 ends quite open and ran Team Genoway out of rocks to maintain the win..

Game Summary

Both teams struggled with the weight today as the ice was much faster than in previous weeks. The turning point was a big steal of two in fourth end, followed by what looked like a sure two points for Kent team in the fifth that turned out to be only one after a measure. Team Kent gambled hard after that but couldn't quite complete the comback. Team Ross emerges victorious.

Stay tuned next week as team Ross battles team Foster with the newly crowned canadian mixed champion husband and wife team of Dean and Susan going head to head in a grudge match to see who is really ruling the roost!!

Game Summary
Team Kimmett short a player started well with a solid end leaving the skip a hit for two. Kimmett then displayed their ability to get themselves out of trouble in ends 2-4. In the 5th the Kimmett team finally couldn't escape from the pressure put on by the Hill team ands they conceded a 3. After that the Kimmett team settled down and they started shooting at the level of Hill, who had been outplaying them. In the 10th the Kimmett skip was left with a wide open hit which he made to secure the win.

Game Summary
summary: 1st end: Nikki (skipping for Diane) made a nice hit & roll with her last shot to set up the steal of 1.
2nd end: Webster misses a split for 3 and only takes 1.
3rd end: Another steal of 1 for Webster as Nikki gets caught in a run with her last hit.
4th end: Blank
5th end: A nasty pick on Nikki's last rock gives Webster a steal of 2.
6th end: Foster's team is having trouble shaking the hammer as Webster racks up another steal.
7th end: Webster forces 1 and gets the hammer back.
8th end: Several nice freezes around a corner guard and then Crystal makes a nice draw to the 4 foot for the deuce.
9th end: Webster's team tries to keep things very clean and gives Foster a deuce to finish off the game.

Game Summary

Congratulations to the Bakker rink for their win in Wainright.

A lot of rocks in play this game. After 3 steals for Simpson (Simpson was absent), Bakker looking for a multiple score in the 5th, had a stone pick leading to another steal. Held to 1 with the hammer in 6, lots of rocks in play in 7 led to a 3 for Simpson.

Game Summary
The "young guns", that's the yablonski team, played a very hard fought, well curled match, right down to their last rock in 8. Several well played ends in the game. The featured shot, again (we've see this before), was the genius slithering backwards through a reverse staggered port in 6 to remove the yablonski counter and rack up a 3 ender to take the lead.
What a fantastic line call by team anholt's apprenticing vice-skip. It was a lead that the more experienced, seasoned, veteran, aging, anholt foursome would not relinquish. The seasoned veterans then took up the challenge to relinquish the lounge fridge of all Pilsners....
