Summary |
Team Rutherford used the hammer in the first end and made a draw for the deuce and that proved to be the only deuce of the entire game!! Both Teams traded singles from the 2nd through the 8th ends with both skips making clutch draws for one against 2 or 3 opponents rocks.In the 9th end, Team Kimmett made a nice come-around a short guard and team Rutherford tried to blank but the soft take-out did not curl enough and left the Team Kimmett rock as a bitter for the steal of one to tie the game. In the 10th, Team Rutherford managed to make the peels good enough to leave Team Kimmett only a come-around a Team Rutherford rock in the front of the house, but the draw slipped to the back of the house and Team Rutherford did not have to throw the last rock.

Summary |
The sixth but lesser known Spice Girl, "Cinammon" joined Team Ross on Wednesday night. Team Ross jumped out to a quick lead as skip Dean Ross drew the four foot for an opening 3 ender. The the 5th end under the watchfull eye of Chainsaw (sweeping single handed), Dean Ross deftly drew through a port and sealed the game with a four ender. Cinammon Spice did a quick dance for the team in the lounge and rumour is the Winter Club is considering getting rid of the sage and chrome pole.

Hill got off to a great start with a steal of 1 in the 1st. They had Webster under pressure in the 2nd until she made a triple with her 1st shot to lie 2 and get her deuce. John Morris (sparing at 3rd) made a delicate hit and roll behind cover in the 5th to lie 3 behind cover and set up the big 4 ender.
