Summary |
Wide open for the first few ends till a light draw in the 5th gave Team Simpson a steal of 3. Rutherford got the 3 right back with lots of rocks in play. Close all the way through, but a well gaurded 4 foot allowed the steal in 10 for Team Simpson.

Summary |
Team Pendergast had two unfair advantages on this night. First of all, Mickey wasn't there. Secondly, Charley Thomas spared and played third. He's such a good player, that's like cheating. Our apologies to Team Mackey.

Summary |
lighter side turning points....The Kimmett team's avg age was 19, while the Genoway team is around 50ish except for their third. Team Kimmett was well past their bed time when the 8th end hit, while the almost senior rink, Team
Genoway, was finally starting to wake up after a jolt of caffeine at the end of 7. It wasn't one short per say, but the combo of age, caffeine and having two tuck sliders.
serious note turning point points...The 8th end and Team Genoway/TG creating a 3-ball. TG used a corner guard that belonged to TG and a center guard belonging to TK. TG was able to muscle a couple of stones into top of the 12ft and back of the four foot around both guards. These made for a couple of tricky shots for TK. It was dicey because both misses by the TK skip were a matter of centimeters. In the ninth Genoway made two perfect draws around some junk freezing his second stone to the face of his first stone in front of the TEE line forcing TK to make an almost perfect shot with his last rock.
